Industrial Epoxy Floor Coatings
With industrial flooring, the main benefit that you are going to get from an epoxy coating is without a doubt that protective layer for your floors. This layer will prevent a lot of dust from forming all over the place. Which is very common in these types of workplaces. Also, the fact that the coating will protect the surface from scratches and scrapes is something that business owners should really appreciate. We are certain that our recurring clients surely do so!
Difference Between Industrial & Commercial
We know that this may seem like something that we should not be talking about here. However, we do get plenty of questions about this difference so we wanted to go ahead and clarify a couple of things up before we moved on. When we talk about these two as being different services we do so, because, for the most part, the needs that a manufacturing company will have will be different than the ones that hire us to apply an epoxy coating to a parking lot. The services are built around the common needs that each potential client may have. Again, the names of the services are just used as a reference. Each service that we cook up is basically unique!
Sturdy But Not Slippery
There is this notion that a lot of the surfaces that get an epoxy coating treatment are almost always going to be a lot more slick and slippery. We guess that has kind of come from people who have slipped and fallen at malls or stores. Not all of the surfaces that have an epoxy coating applied to them will end up being slippery. It is quite the opposite actually we can make sure that a lot of the surfaces that would otherwise not give workers good overall grip become really solid areas that they can feel comfortable working in!
How Much Does The Treatment Last?
Always one of the main questions that people have, and why not, it can literally determine whether or not their investment is actually justified. We can’t put an exact number of years here. It varies a lot depending on the type of treatment that was applied and the traffic and care that each area gets. Really we’ve seen floors in very busy factories almost reach that 2-year mark at full strength. After that, you may not get that even feeling that you have when the floor has just been covered. You get areas where you start feeling a little bit different. It is a real issue in our book!
We Can Apply It To Virtually Any Surface
One of the other benefits that this type of treatment can bring to the table is the fact that it can be applied to many different types of existing floors. As we have said in other areas of the site this is not a treatment that is going to “cure” your floors of all of their illnesses, but it can really help maintain its overall look and even take it to the next level!
